VISA for Canada

This page provides attendees with brief guidance on applying for a Canadian visa (for both tourism and business). Please refer to official instructions for details.

Steps

Application steps (simplified version)

Confirm visa category:Generally, participants choose Visitor Visa (temporary resident visa, including business/conference).
Online Registration & Fill out the form:Create an account on the official website of the Canadian Immigration Bureau, fill out the application form, and upload the materials.
Pay the fees: Pay the visa fee and fingerprint collection fee (if required).
Bioinformation Collection:After receiving the appointment notice, go to the nearest visa center to collect fingerprints/photos.
Application processing: The processing time varies depending on your country/region and the type of application.
Visa issuance / approval notice: After approval, if you need a visitor visa (TRV), you will normally be asked to submit your passport so that a visa counterfoil can be placed in it. If you only need an eTA, the approval will be linked electronically to your passport and you will receive a confirmation email (no physical visa label).

Tips: Please apply as early as possible and keep your contact information open; if you need an invitation letter, please contact the conference secretary.
